RULES

1)       You must be at U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old and possess a current, valid Membership Card. Children under 18 are permitted only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with a valid Membership. No Guests!

2)       Outside facilities are available for Member use from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Exceptions: Clay target practice not permitted when Club facilities are rented or when lake is in use. Rifle Range may not be used during outdoor shoots at Club House.

3)       No alcoholic beverages, campfires, swimming, smoking in pine trees or littering is permitted. Littering is anything brought on to Club property

4)       Rifle Range:
a)
      Firing stations are set at 50, 100 & 200 yards. Moving of firing stations is not
         permitted
b)      Firing of guns is permitted only in designated areas.
c)      Only paper type targets are permitted on the Rifle Range.
d)
      Targets must be placed in the center of the mound near the base.
e)      More than one (1) person is permitted on the rifle range at the same time,
         however only one (1) may be on the firing line at a time. Others must remain
         behind the shooter.
f)       There is no time limit for range usage except when another member is
         waiting. 
         The time limit is thirty (30) minutes. Should a member be waiting, the user   
          will
         consider time already spent on the range at the time the waiting member
         arrived.
         A group of two (2) or more may not accumulate multiples of thirty (30)
         minutes.
g)      Rapid fire is not permitted. A five shot (one (1) time) gun try-out is allowed.
        
Rapid fire is more than one (1) shot every three seconds.

5)       The use of target frames, target hangers, target posts, trap houses, electrical
    poles, buildings or any other object not intended for target use is considered as
    destruction of property and will be treated as such.

6)       Clay Target Practice
a)
      Practice, using personal property, is permitted only at the north trap house.
b)      Practice is not permitted when the lake is in use.
c)      Persons throwing targets must be in line or behind the shooter.
d)      Standard rules apply:
        
i)        One (1) shooter, two (2) cartridges.
        
ii)       Used casings must be removed.
        
iii)     Thirty (30) minutes time limit.
        
e)      Clay target practice is not permitted when Club facilities are rented.

7)       Crossbows may be used in designated areas only.

8)       Hunting for rabbit, pheasant and deer ( no turkey ) during normal hunting season     is permitted in the area of the Club property east of the pond (pine trees).
a)
      Rifles and pistols are not permitted.
b)
      Hunting hours are sunrise (not prior to 6:00 a.m.)
         to sunset (no later than 8:00 p.m.).
c)     
Bow hunting only for deer is permitted in the trees west of the club house (across the road from the club house).

9)       Pond:
a)
      The pond is for bank fishing only.
b)
      No other activities are allowed.
c)
      Pond access is not permitted when Rifle Range is in use.
d)
      Fishing after 8:00 p.m. is permitted on a walk-in basis, vehicles may be parked at the Club House.

10)    Non-members are permitted to use Club facilities only during Club sponsored or
  or sanctioned events.

 

The objective of these rules is to keep the Club safe and clean for our members. If you feel you cannot abide by them you should refrain from applying for membership.  Members who fail to abide by the rules are subject to expulsion and will not be offered a membership in the future.

Gates are intended as fair warning to non-members, not to inhibit our members.  Members may open or close gate during designated hours.
Members should be prepared to show their Membership Cards when on Club grounds.

The Sheriff’s Department and Marion County Game Wardens periodically patrol the grounds to deter vandalism and non-member usage.
